Ventry provides moving services for mattresses, beds and futons in both small and large sizes, suitable for moving house, moving to a condominium, or relocating bedding to a new address. Our team pays close attention to lifting, carrying and positioning, to help reduce the risk of items being deformed, stained or damaged in transit.
Customers can send us the product details, the pick-up and delivery addresses and information about the buildings involved, so that our team can review everything and estimate the service fee before an appointment is scheduled.
Items We Move
Our team can assess and move a wide range of items, including:
- Natural latex mattresses
- Pocket spring mattresses
- Bonnell spring mattresses
- Foam mattresses
- Small mattresses and futons
- Large mattresses and futons
- Beds and bed frames, subject to on-site conditions
- Other types of mattress — please send photos for our team to review first
Standard sizes are supported, namely 3 ft, 3.5 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft, as well as special sizes, which are assessed case by case.
Quantity Per Trip
Up to 2 sets can be transported per trip, where:
1 set = 1 mattress together with 1 bed
If you have more than 2 sets, or other furniture and bedding to move as well, please send us the details so our team can assess the number of trips required and any additional service fee.
Location Details We Need
So that the job can be assessed accurately, please describe both the pick-up and the delivery location:
- House or townhome up to 3 floors
- Condominium or apartment up to 3 floors
- House or townhome higher than 3 floors
- Condominium or apartment higher than 3 floors
- Whether or not there is a service lift
- The size and limitations of stairs, doors and walkways
- The parking area and the distance from the vehicle to the building
If there are particular constraints — for example a small lift, narrow stairs, no parking space, or building-imposed moving hours — please let our team know in advance.
